Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) entered partnership with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) for its environmental care programs and projects.

Memorandum of Understanding was transacted for this purpose at the President's Office, September 29 with Mr. Johnny Mandocdoc, MENRO head; and Dr. Elmer De Leon, LPC President, with Mr. Joemark Ablian, Research, Development and Extension director; and Ms. Julie Diaz, Community Development coordinator.

Hence, MENRO committed its strong support to LPC's effort and initiative relative to environmental care and conservation for the new generation.

Ms. Diaz presented the PAMAHAYANAN 2.0 and Tree Planting programs currently in place at LPC, while Mr. Ablian cited the environmental research results, such as common wastes in the community for diversion and diversification. Mr. Mandocdoc also promised to work on the needed seedlings and spaces for tree planting activity to be participated in by the LPC faculty, staff and students.
