Limay Polytechnic College on Tuesday received the 40 units of digital drawing tablets delivered by the personnel of the Municipal Procurement Office. This is for the Associate in Computer Technology (ACT) student use, incurred from the UniFAST subsidy under Computer Laboratory line item.

The said Huion Kamvas 13 Gen digital graphics drawing tablets were requested by the Information Technology Education (ITE) Department for the digital drawing class and for LPC's planned application of BS in Multimedia and BSIT programs.

Hence, a new laptop was also purchased to restore school's important files and data at the President's Office.

More so, it clearly and boldly responds to the institution's digitization prospect as entailed in its future directions.

As such, LPC acknowledges Hon. Mayor Richie Jason David for his approval to the request for purchase and continuous support and prompt response to LPC's needs and development.

Likewise, the college president appreciates the assistance provided by the Accounting, Treasurer's and Procurement Offices and the Bidding and Awards Committee for the fast processing and transaction of the purchase.

With these digital tools in place, students ensure to gain the technology competencies they need in preparing for their future careers in IT and multimedia fields.

The gadgets were received by the Technical Team with Mr. Jester Guillermo, MIS officer; Ms. Cheyser Charrese Gatchula, ITE head; and Mr. Mark Andy Ramos and Mr. RJay Tiangco, IT faculty who checked, inspected and calibrated the said gadgets. Hence, Pres. Dr. Elmer de Leon and Admin Asst. Mr. Mark Anthony Banda also witnessed the turn-over process arranged by Ms. Sherryl Bartolo, Procurement, Supplies and Inventory and UniFAST focal person.

Thus, drawing classes may already use the said digital tools when they resume classes after midterm exams. #
