𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | LCTA offers Free CPD Programs for LPTs as TEd Extension Service
Date Posted: Mar. 27, 2026
Limay Polytechnic College's Limay CPD Teacher Academy conducted its second, third, and fourth legs of approved and accredited CPD-based programs, this time onsite, with invited teacher-participants from DepEd Orion and Mariveles districts.
Notably, the three programs, scheduled at different times, earned a total of 18 CPD units from the Professional Regulation Commission, with 6 units each.
This initiative serves as the Department of Teacher Education's institutional extension program for both public and private school teachers, supporting their continuing professional development and PRC ID renewal needs. The programs are offered free of charge, facilitated by the LPC DTE Department, and documents for application, registration, compliance submission, and evaluation are processed by the Academy, including the issuance of CPD unit-based certificates.
As such, this LPC's approach to extending services to teachers attests to its mission to establish the Academy and to pursue its accreditation as a CPD provider. More so, it binds LPC's commitment to become a Center of Teacher Training as indicated in its priority outcome goals.
To date, the next leg will focus on updates, curriculum, and approaches and strategies in teaching Filipino in partnership with DepEd schools.
Approves certificates with accredited units in the said three conducted programs are now readily available for distribution, as they have already been registered and appear on their LERIS portals. #
