𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | De Leon renewed in CPD Council representing Academe; takes Oath

After his first run through term as a member of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Professional Teachers by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Dr. Elmer De Leon's appointment in the said Council has been renewed and he took his Oath at the PRC Building, Morayta, Manila presided by Hon. Conrado T. Onglao, PRC Commissioner, September 15.
Notably, being the current president of an institution and oversight head of the Teacher Education, Dr. De Leon represents the academe in the Council.
The Council is tasked to evaluate providers' accreditation and application of proposed program and professional teachers' CPD unit crediting, self-directed learning approval and other tasks related to growth, development and advancement of professional teachers.
As such, this is a service extension provided to a government agency, the likes of PRC toward standardization, quality assurance and internationalization of professional teachers that greatly impact the Philippine education.
To note, LPC provides desired assistance to government agencies, professional organizations and educational institutions toward mutual support, development and partnership. #
