Limay Polytechnic College (LPC), in collaboration with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Bataan, conducted a seminar titled βPhilippine National Public Key Infrastructure (PNPKI) Orientation and Workshopβ on October 7 at the LPC Library.
The event aimed to train LPC administrators and staff on strengthening the use of electronic signatures in daily operations, recognizing their importance in todayβs digital landscape.
Ms. Cielo A. Alfonso, Planning Assistant of PNPKI from DICT Bataan, served as the resource speaker, providing participants with an overview of PNPKI, its application process, and how it ensures secure and efficient digital transactions through digital certificates and signatures.
Meanwhile, Ms. Andrea Therese B. Jumpalad, Project Development Officer II from DICT Bataan, was also present during the seminar and assisted participants as they carried out the procedures demonstrated by Ms. Alfonso.
This initiative with DICT Bataan is part of LPCβs ongoing efforts to promote digital transformation and enhance cybersecurity practices within the institution. #
