𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 | LPC Business Student wins PC's Wow Product Knowledge Regional Championship; advances to National Level

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — A Business Administration student of Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) emerged as Regional Champion in the Wow Product Knowledge Competition held in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, also aired via facebook live on July 17, 2026, earning the distinction over contenders from across the region.

John Zyril Tutor demonstrated exceptional product knowledge, confidence, and competitive spirit, securing the championship title and taking a medal, certificate of recognition, gift tokens and a ₱10,000 cash prize courtesy of Personal Collection (PC).

Following his regional victory, Tutor is now preparing to represent the region and compete at the national level during the PC National Olympics, scheduled on August 18, 2026, at Robinsons Starmills, San Fernando, Pampanga.

Tutor's achievement exemplifies the growing impact of the “Learn-Earn” Business Academe-Industry Model, a partnership initiative between Personal Collection and Limay Polytechnic College designed to bring classroom learning closer to actual business practice.

Under the model, students are given opportunities to participate in industry capacity-building and extension activities, peer teaching, direct business immersion, internship through the Study-Buddy or Shadowing System, and potential employment opportunities, including employment prioritization for qualified students and interns.

As a result, some LPC interns have been absorbed by the company and now become members of its growing operation in the region.
Through this academe-industry engagement, students are not confined to learning business concepts inside the classroom.

They are provided opportunities to experience actual business environments, develop industry competencies, build professional networks, and earn while learning—even at the early stages of their college journey.

Tutor's certificate of recognition commended him for his competitive spirit and exceptional performance throughout the competition—qualities that reflect the character and values of a true Dangal LPCian.

His achievement demonstrates what can happen when academic preparation is complemented by authentic industry exposure, determination, and the willingness to learn beyond the classroom.
