Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) on Monday, was among the higher education institutions in Central Luzon recognized by the Commission on Higher Education Region III (CHEDR3) during an awarding ceremony for institutions that received international rankings and distinctions, held at Hotel Seoul in Clark City, Pampanga, Sept. 14.
LPCβs recognition follows its performance in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026, where the institution placed in the global Top 100 in 19 categories, up from two categories in the previous edition.
LPC President Dr. Elmer B. De Leon credited the achievement to the people who contributed to the collegeβs international ranking efforts, particularly the LPC Internationalization.
De Leon also thanked Limay Mayor Richie Jason David, Vice Mayor Marie Grace David, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, municipal departments, communities and barangays for their support.
βThis is more than enough that we can offer to the LPC Community, the People of Limay, our Stakeholders, Partners and other institutions,β De Leon said.
The 19-category WURI recognition marks a significant increase in LPCβs international ranking presence being the most number of ranked categories so far in history of WURI since 2022. It reflects the institutionβs continuing efforts in innovation and higher education development and internationalization engagement.
The recognition also places LPC among the Central Luzon HEIs gaining international recognition for their institutional initiatives and contributions to higher education. #
