The recently Limay Polytechnic College's Research Capacity Building and Mentoring Program last month has been accredited by the Professional Regulation Commission–Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Council, earning a total of 11 CPD units.

The two-day program dubbed as "Elevating Institutional Research: Peer Critiquing, Forum, Simulation and Policy Formulation" and "Research Capacity Building for Thesis Advisers and Panel of Evaluators" both facilitated by Mr. Joemark Ablian, director of Research, Innovation and Extension was submitted by the Limay CPD Academy, the accredited CPD Provider of LPC and upon evaluation, was awarded a total of 11 (6+5) points.

Faculty members, who are holders of a valid Professional Teacher’s Identification Card (PIC) and who attended the program and completed the required assessment outputs, may claim the approved CPD units upon processing and complying with the necessary requirements of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

The earned units shall automatically be reflected in the individual CPDAS portal.

The Office of the College President commends Mr. Joemark Ablian, Director of Research, Innovation and Extension and CPD Focal Person, for organizing and facilitating the activity and for successfully processing its accreditation for CPD units.

College President Dr. Elmer De Leon thanked Mr. Ablian for his dedication in enhancing the research competencies of the faculty and for supporting the fulfillment of the Continuing Professional Development requirements of professional teachers at LPC.
