𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | DBA conducts orientation for second deployment to partner industries in 2nd semester
Date Posted: Jan. 10, 2026
The Department of Business and Accountancy (DBA) held the Orientation on Continuing Internship Deployment for the second semester at the Audiovisual Room, January 09.
Dr. John Levy Rueda, head of DBA and in-charge of Accountancy interns, led the said activity and laid down the expectations, provided feedbacks and cited instances and challenges for student-interns' analysis and reflection. The latter also reminded them on the right discipline and work ethics they need to demonstrate in the immersion sites during their internship experience.
During the program, other internship coordinators Ms. Rizzalyn Hussein (Operations Management), Ms. Abegail Valmonte (Financial Management), and Mr. Danreve Apostil (Marketing Managemebt) also delivered their talks on essential things to be considered, the requirements and compliances and reminders on good employee relationship.
To note, as LPC strengthens its Internship Program toward feasible and realizable employment opportunities among interns and graduates, it lengthens the allotted time for internship as indicated in the CHED- approved curriculum. Specifically and contextually designed, the said course discipline is offered in two successive semesters and in different company settings for more hiring opportunities.
As a result, a number of interns get absorbed on the first quarter of their internship experience which is LPC's goal among them as institutional outcome.#
