𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | Lampara sweeps eight award at Dalumat 2026

Lampara, the official student publication of Limay Polytechnic College (LPC), brought home eight awards in the recently concluded Dalumat 2026: The Bataan Youth Media, Advocacy, and Innovation Congress, held at Bataan Peninsula State University-Main Campus, Sept. 26-27.

The two-day competition gathered 25 schools and approximately 350 campus journalists and school paper advisers from across the province of Bataan, providing a venue for young media practitioners to showcase their skills in various fields of campus journalism.

The publication’s delegation was guided and trained by their moderators Mr. John Rudolph G. Barbin and Mr. Joey L. Gueva.

Lampara also recognized its staff members Jhon Wen Vince Cortes, Angelo Bulandos and Chyrylle Calvo, who participated in the congress and represented LPC with pride and honor.

The achievement reflects the continued commitment of LAMPARA’s student journalists and mentors to developing responsible, skilled and creative campus journalists who uphold the values of journalism and service through their work.

LPC President Dr. Elmer B. De Leon congratulated the scribe delegation for their accomplishments and for representing the institution in the provincial-wide competition.

LPC likewise extends its appreciation to Mayor Richie Jason David, Vice Mayor Marie Grace David, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, LGU Limay, and the entire LPC community for their continued support and encouragement to the institution’s student journalists and campus publication.
