The Department of Teacher Education (DTE) of Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) strengthened its professional engagement with teacher education institutions across Central Luzon through its participation in the 4th General Assembly of the Association of Deans for the Colleges of Education in Region III, Inc. (ADCER3, Inc.) held on September 19, 2026, at Holy Angel University, Angeles City, Pampanga.

Representing LPC were Ms. April R. Cruz, Department Head, and Ms. Jana Marie D. Mangune, Program Chair, who joined deans, academic leaders, and educators from various teacher education institutions (TEIs) across Region III for a gathering focused on collaboration, professional development, and institutional networking.

One of the highlights of the assembly was the keynote presentation entitled “Work-Life Integration in Academic Leadership,” delivered by Dr. Benny Soliman, Director of the Student Placement Office of Tarlac Agricultural University.

The session provided academic leaders with perspectives relevant to balancing leadership responsibilities, professional commitments, and personal well-being in the context of higher education management.

The assembly also featured organizational updates, fellowship, and networking activities, providing participating TEIs opportunities to exchange experiences, strengthen professional connections, and explore avenues for continued collaboration within the region.

For LPC, participation in ADCER3 forms part of its continuing commitment to professional organization engagement, academic networking, and capacity building.

Through active participation in professional associations, the College enables its academic leaders and faculty members to remain connected with emerging practices, sector developments, professional standards, and collaborative opportunities in higher education.

LPC continues to encourage its academic departments and personnel to maintain dynamic and meaningful engagement with relevant professional organizations, recognizing its impact on institutional development is strengthened through continuous learning, professional exchange, and collaboration beyond the campus.

The College’s active participation in professional networks likewise supports its broader commitment to quality assurance, continuous improvement, faculty development, and academic excellence, ensuring that its programs and practices remain responsive to developments within the higher education sector. #
