Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) has revised and finalized its plans for the 29th Founding Anniversary in response to the far-reaching impact of the ongoing energy emergency linked to conflicts in the Middle East.

The original program, prepared in March 2026, was revisited during a meeting convened for this purpose, led by 29th Foundation Committee Chair Ms. April Cruz and Ms. Jesica Marata, Officer for Student Affairs, Discipline, and Services.

In light of current conditions, the College has decided to temporarily suspend several large-scale events traditionally anticipated during the celebration, including the Foundation Parade, Grand Cultural Festival, Mr. and Ms. LPC, Stakeholders’ Appreciation Day, and the LPC Concert.

Despite these adjustments, LPC remains committed to preserving the spirit of its founding anniversary through a more modest yet meaningful celebration.

Activities will continue to highlight a holistic approach, encompassing academic, spiritual, social, cultural, research, extension, environmental, and physical dimensions.

Departments, such as Business, Accountancy, Education, and Technology will also hold their respective celebrations to cover the current Foundation Anniversary.

As part of the program, successful alumni, who have excelled in board examinations, will be recognized and honored in the Testimonial Tribute.

The 29th anniversary will likewise, serve as a prelude to the grand celebration of LPC’s 30th Founding Anniversary in 2027.

Anchored on the theme, “HIYAS: Shine Global LPCian @ 29" (A Road to Pearl Milestone), this year’s activities aim to be memorable, relevant, and educational, while remaining responsive to present challenges.

The official foundation logo and theme song originally composed and musically arranged by Mr. Danreve Apostol and Mr. John Rudolph Barbin will be performed by select students and faculty, with choreography by Mr. Joemark Ablian during the 29th Founding Anniversary Opening Ceremonies.

Details will come out very soon for dissemination, while integration meeting with the admin, faculty and staff is scheduled for this purpose. #
