Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) successfully held the graduation and certification rites for Batches 4 and 5 of the Instrumentation Control Servicing program after the trainees completed the required competency training hours. The ceremony took place at the Audio-Visual Room on April 22.
College President Dr. Elmer De Leon delivered an inspiring message to the completers, emphasizing the purpose of the program and the wide range of career opportunities available to them.
He also encouraged the graduates to continue pursuing other training programs and obtain National Certifications that would earn them microcredentials leading to the Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
This diploma may further be ladderized into a board degree program in Electrical Engineering.
Dr. De Leon highlighted that learners may continue their education while working through flexible arrangements, making the program more accessible to aspiring professionals.
βThis program is LPCβs way of reaching out to the youth and residents of the municipality by giving them new hope through multiple career opportunities that can uplift their families and communities,β he said.
He concluded with a heartfelt challenge: βWhen you get there, help us reach those who have lost hope, and together, let us give them new hopeβjust as you have received today.β
The ceremony also included the distribution of training and national certificates led by Dr. De Leon, Ms. Remedios Mendoza, Secretary of the Board of Trustees; Ms. Rodalie Dineros, Head of Technical-Vocational, Microcredentialing and Lifelong Learning Education; and Ms. Marites Pacquing, College Registrar.
Mr. Robert Abella, trainer and facilitator of the batches, introduced the trainees who successfully passed the National Certification assessment.
Mr. John Ivan Acosta, an outstanding trainee delivered the batch acknowledgment message, while Ms. Dineros formally concluded the event through her closing remarks. #
