RDE joins ASC Assembly 2025

Mr. Joemark Ablian, Research, Development and Extension (RDE) director attended the 2025 Annual Scientific Conference and 92nd General Membership Assembly on March 13, 2025 at the Philippine International Convention Center, Pasay City themed "Science, Technology, Social Innovation and Human Capital in Global Challenges".
Mr. Ablian is currently an associate member of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NCRP) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
To note, the NCRP was created on December 8, 1933 by virtue of ACT 4120 that aims to: (1) promote and support fundamental or basic research for the continuing improvement of the research capability of individual or group scientist; (2) foster linkages with local and international scientific organizations for enhanced cooperation in the development and sharing of scientific information; (3) provide advice on problems and issues of national interests; and (4) promote the scientific and technological culture to all sectors of the society.
With the RDE's active professional engagement with NRCP, it is anticipated that LPC shall fulfill its goal of strengthening research and innovation by exploring and probing scientific inquiries, rediscovering theories and critical analyses.
Hence, Mr. Ablian acknowledged LPC and the Municipality for supporting and allowing him to join this activity as he considered a great opportunity to learn, share and encounter research scientists in various fields.
