𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | LPC Holds President’s Hour as a Feedback Mechanism for Continuous Quality Improvement

Date Posted: Apr. 26, 2026

Limay Polytechnic College President Dr. Elmer De Leon met with all class mayors in four batches on April 21 and 23 as part of the institution’s regular President’s Hour initiative.

The activity serves as a direct feedback mechanism that gathers students’ insights and concerns in a random and representational manner.

Information generated from the sessions is used as basis for policy review, reformulation, validation, and evidence-based management decisions.

The meetings were conducted in four schedules. On April 21, first- and second-year students participated, with Business and Accountancy representatives in the morning, followed by Education and Information Technology students in the afternoon.

On April 23, the same clustering was followed for third- and fourth-year students for morning and afternoon schedules.

Dr. De Leon, together with the Academic Director and the Officer of Student Affairs, Discipline and Services (OSADS), inquired on students’ social conditions, satisfaction with college services, and learning experiences at LPC.

Participants also raised personal challenges, academic concerns, and other student-related matters.

The College President commended the class representatives for responsibly communicating concerns to the administration, describing it as a mark of effective student leadership.

He also assured them that identified issues would be acted upon promptly.

“For me, this is the best platform for students to raise their concerns rather than in forums or social media where issues may not be properly addressed or clarified,” Dr. De Leon said.

“Rest assured that no concern placed on my table will remain unresolved for long. We will address them in the quickest way possible to ensure continuous quality improvement and the sustainable growth and development of our dear LPC,” he added.

The President’s Hour is regularly conducted every semester among student representatives. Through this initiative, the College President ensures that concerns and recommendations are supported by reliable, credible, and relevant data through proper validation processes, leading to timely action and meaningful reforms.

This is to ensure students' best learning opportunity and continuity, while assessing the operation, service provision and instructional delivery toward sustaining educational quality at LPC. #
