Date Posted: May. 02, 2026
The Supreme Student Council, the Council of Department Presidents, and key stakeholders composed of representatives from the administration, faculty, staff, and alumni unanimously affirmed the proposed new student uniform designs during separate consultation sessions.
LPC President Dr. Elmer de Leon clearly explained the concept and significance of the puzzle-inspired design featuring the geographic map of Bataan with the theme βAt the Heart of the Peninsula,β highlighted by a pearl accent at the center. Ms. Jesica Marata, Officer of Student Affairs, Discipline and Services (OSADS), also assisted in facilitating the stakeholdersβ consultation.
Following the favorable response, the proposed uniform designs are expected to be endorsed by the Academic Council through a formal resolution seeking approval from the Board of Trustees during its next scheduled meeting.
A corresponding resolution will likewise be prepared and signed by the concerned board members for this purpose.
With this development, a refreshed LPCian image and brand identity is anticipated for incoming freshmen in School Year 2026β2027. For higher-year students, adoption of the new uniforms will remain voluntary, allowing them to continue using the current set.
Details relative to this matter shall be included in the General Student Orientation Assembly and Department Caucus Briefing Session to be scheduled very soon.
This initiative forms part of the Collegeβs preparations for a new milestone decade in 2027, as Limay Polytechnic College celebrates its Pearl Anniversary on its 30th year. #
