Limay Municipal Mayor Richie Jason David set an integration meeting with Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) President Dr. Elmer De Leon; Engr. Ernesto Cabana, Municipal Engineering Office; and Atty. Porfirio Panganiban, October 13.

The said meeting focused on discussions on updates and developments in the new campus which is anticipated to be in operation (of its first two phases) in school year 2026-2027 to house designated departments and decongest the old campus building.

To date, the remaining phases, including the roof top for multipurpose gym, the elevator and the separated admin building with auditorium are currently in process of budget allocation and outsourcing.

Engr. Cabana mentioned the completion of its fence and gates, the roads and path walks.

Dr. De Leon laid down his plan to realize the Nelson C. David Learning Hub and Museum Gallery, the Alumni Garden, and Internationalization Hub with the board room, Quality Assurance and Accreditation Office beside the President's Office in the admin building.

Notably, Mayor David boasted the current great continuous achievements of LPC, its board passing performance, employment status and its world innovation ranks.

He also expressed an insight that education is really a powerful tool for economic growth of this growing and promising municipality.

And he committed to do by all means and to render his full support to the institution for the needed developments, resources and entailed budget.

Meanwhile, Dr. De Leon committed the school rebranding, marketing and quality assurance and regulatory compliances.

But he also appealed for strong support and assistance from the stakeholders, especially the local government under beloved mayor's watch in order to make all the dreams, aspirations and directions for LPC be realized and accomplished for the next generation.

While listening to the informative conversation, Atty. Panganiban expressed his amazement and appreciation to the awesome advocacy of this institution as a living legacy of its founder, Mayor Nelson David that is being sustained in time.

Mr. Mark Anthony Banda, admin asst. was also present during the meeting who coordinated and documented said encounter.
