𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | LPC President convenes Working Team for CHED RQAT Onsite Validation of Newly Applied Academic Programs

Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) has intensified its preparations for the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Region III Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) Onsite Validation Visit following the official notification of the schedule for the assessment of the newly applied academic programs.
On August 5, College President Dr. Elmer De Leon convened the institutional working team responsible for the preparations, marking the third and final presidential meeting held that day.
The meeting focused on organizing tasks, identifying priorities, and ensuring the College's readiness for the upcoming validation.
The onsite assessment follows CHED Region III's confirmation that LPC had successfully passed the documentary review and evaluation, the initial phase of the application process, allowing the institution to proceed to the physical validation stage.
The College is seeking approval to offer five new undergraduate programs:
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED)
Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED)
Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSEntrep)
Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS)
Bachelor of Science in Management Accounting (BSMA)
During the meeting, President De Leon outlined the specific responsibilities of the concerned offices and personnel, emphasizing the immediate preparation of documentary requirements, laboratories, classrooms, library resources, equipment, faculty credentials, and other facilities that will be evaluated by the CHED RQAT.
The President acknowledged CHED Region III for its prompt processing of LPC's applications, noting that the scheduling of the onsite validation reflects the College's commitment to quality assurance and regulatory compliance through the timely submission of documentary requirements despite the demanding preparation period.
Given the limited preparation period of only four working days, compounded by the suspension of classes and onsite work due to inclement weather, the President called for intensified coordination and teamwork to ensure that all requirements are completed before the arrival of the assessment team.
In his message, Dr. De Leon expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the faculty, administrators, and staff for their unwavering cooperation and dedication.
"Ngayon pa lang nagpapasalamat na ako sa inyong efforts para sa ating mga paghahanda bilang commitment at dedikasyon para sa institution," the President shared, recognizing the collective commitment of the College community in pursuing another significant institutional milestone.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from the working team to work collaboratively and efficiently toward the successful conduct of the CHED onsite validation.
The approval of these new academic programs is expected to expand educational opportunities for the youth of Limay and neighboring communities while further strengthening LPC's responsiveness to regional workforce demands and national development priorities.
The initiative likewise reflects the College's continuing pursuit of academic excellence, quality assurance, and institutional growth through relevant and future-ready program offerings. #
