𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | LPC attends CHEDRO3's Reorientation on Salient Features of CMO No. 18 s. 2022

Date Posted: Jan. 14, 2026

The college president and Academic Council of Limay Polytechnic College joined the Webinar on Reorientation on CMO No. 18 s. 2022 among local colleges called for by the Commission on Higher Education - Region 3, January 13.

LUC presidents and deans in the region were present and actively participated in the said activity.

The said webinar focused on the board composition, qualifications of college president and the search process, required mandatory human resources with relevant qualifications (i.e. deans, faculty, guidance counselor, librarian, nurse), required facilities and laboratories, pertinent documents, the certificates of program compliance, and the currently approved charter and institutional development plan.

Accordingly, these requirements would make it toward sustainability of institutional recognition. The process of new program and specialization application was also elaborated.

Considering the risk of being delisted and non-compliant that may implicate the academic operation, board examination and UniFAST grant, institutions have to uphold the policies and standards mandated by the provisions of said CMO as reiterated by Dr. Maura Consolacion D. Cristobal, Director IV of CHEDRO3.

Questions and concerns were raised for clarification and solutions in the context of a local college during the session.#
