Limay Polytechnic College conducted the coveted Annual Faculty Development Seminar-Workshop in a hybrid format with Ms. Frances Ann S. Genese (LPC) who presented the latest CHED mandate on the implementation of face to face classes; Dr. Nino Naldoza (PNU-Manila) who discussed about hyflex learning and the appropriate tools in the new normal; Dr. Alvin Sicat (PWU-Manila) who articulated happy teaching through interactive and dynamic strategies; and Dr. Elmer B. de Leon (LPC) who shared on metacognitive assessment tool in the new normal on September 05-06, 2022 at the Audio-visual Room (onsite) via Google Meet (online). Participants were those in the school (full time) and at their homes (part time) using virtual platform. As such, two in-house speakers delivered their talks physically, while the other invited two were via online. Likewise, the two groups of participants based on contexts participated actively and simultaneously in the discussions and activities, including the presentation of outputs done in their respective places. This initial attempt just showed that LPC is ready to cope with the demands of the dreaded time with much technology-driven mechanisms. The event was made possible thru the concerted efforts of Ms. Queences Ricel G. De Guzman, this year’s chairman; with the assistance of Mr. Jester M. Guillermo, MIS officer; and Mr. Anthony B. Banda, administrative officer for quality assurance.
