LPC PRESIDENT'S CORNER

The President's Message

Mabuhay. Welcome to Limay Polytechnic College: Dangal ng Bayan.

Dear students and parents, it is a common knowledge that at the moment, we are in this difficult time brought about by this global pandemic that greatly impacts the education sector and the institutions nationwide.

But despite this challenge, we cannot simply stop education and schooling at all. Amidst this uncertainty is our desire to sustain quality education beset with standards while adhering to health protocols of the government.

Nevertheless, we would like to continuously realize our vision for the youth of Limay – our students, who are being prepared, transformed and reshaped into becoming great men and women and can profoundly share their service of expertise in the society. Truly, we want them to be successful in the fields of endeavor they are bound for. But, we can only make this happen when we all work together for common goal for the love of LPC.

In this new normal condition, we only have two options to consider, which are to pursue or not to pursue; to go on studies or to stop; to be at Limay Polytechnic College or other colleges? Whatever your choice is, it really matters that we respect and expect.

Needlessly in the light of academics, we offer two flexible learning options, which are online and offline? The so-called blended and flexible synchronous and asynchronous modalities. However, we have to realize foremost the significance of education grounded on precious time and value for money. The relentless efforts, the price of education and everyone’s sacrifices should entail desired outcome at the end. And to make this realized, we encourage parents to support and assist their children in this new normal condition by providing their learning needs and resources.

On our end, we keep on conducting series of trainings in this new normal system for the faculty, staff and students; we have prepared learning packets and invested on needed infrastructure, stronger bandwidth of wifi connectivity and virtual learning hubs for teachers in their structured synchronous teaching modality using a more structured digital platform thru a unified Learning Management System. Hence, the local government of Limay, headed by the Offices of the Mayor and Vice Mayor and the coordinating departments, the Sangguniang Bayan and our partner institutions, agencies and organizations have been collaboratively established synergic action and confluence.

True enough, that in this great inevitable transition, no one is certain, neither can claim to be perfectly prepared. Therefore, along the line of our journey to this new quest, we need everyone’s understanding, consideration, open mind, patience, perseverance and humility in order for us to win this battle. We may not claim to always expect for smooth sailing operation and perfect execution because indeed, everyone is into trial and error mechanism on the designed system toward refinement and efficiency. We ardently hope

that you would still be with us even in our darkest times of technical glitches and dimmed risks and consequences.

As we adhere to government protocol for everyone’s safety, LPC sets new guidelines that would enlighten your decisions and actions in carrying through with this new process of learning and knowledge exploration. We keep on posting and presenting clearly prospect details, pertinent information, updates and institutional achievements, including our shared duties and responsibilities.

So, to everyone, I just hope and pray that we may succeed in this kind of new undertaking and realize institutional vision. Together, let’s win COVID-19 with quality education that we will sustain.

As our mantra goes, “we aspire as one, and achieve as one”.

Once again, Mabuhay and may God bless us all. Keep safe everyone.
