The Philippine National Police - Limay, Bataan commits assistance and support to LPC's anti-illegal drugs drive through joint project and program initiatives. In connection, Ms. Ginalyn M. Soriben, Police Community Relation officer and concurrently, the coordinator of Anti-Drug Programs with Ptr. Franjo Bacolod, drug education counselor visited LPC to partner for their agency's drug education program. The said initiative was very timely that LPC has been brewing the Integrated Philippine Anti-illegal Drugs Strategies (IPADS) that includes coordination with multi-sectoral agencies, such as the PNP. Mr. Mark Anthony B. Banda, admin officer for QUALITI, who accommodated the visiting PNP official, resonated the school's initial drive to sustain a smoke and drug-free LPC. In fact, a structured framework model is already in place thru the LPC-IPADS Unit and OSADS with keypoint areas and corresponding activities for both internal (school-based) and external (community-based) contexts. In addition, the memorandum of agreement signing for this purpose is scheduled soon that besets the joint programs, services, monitoring and counseling endeavors. Meanwhile, a relevant study on assessing handling and management skills on related drug cases among school officials, faculty and staff in senior high schools in Limay toward capacity building, in partnership with PNP Limay is now being processed as a start-up for community-based actions which was also cited by Mr. Banda to the visiting PNP officer. With this in mind for action, the partner agencies look forward to a healthier and more engaging convergence toward sustaining '0 drug case' not only in LPC, but also in all schools in Limay to protect the youth who may be prone to indulging into illegal drug activities. #SDG3goodhealthandwellbeing #sdg16peacejusticeandstronginstitutions #SDG17partnershipsforthegoals
