[𝐄𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐒' 𝐄𝐃𝐆𝐄] 𝐓𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐌𝐎𝐀 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐏𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐏𝐂 In a significant step towards enhancing teacher education, the West Philippines Institute (WPI) has officially signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Limay Polytechnic College (LPC), October 2, 2024. This partnership aims to foster collaboration between the two institutions, focusing on improving the practical training of student-teachers. Representatives from WPI — School Principal Aurea G. Parbo and Academic Head Christian Ludovico, and LPC Academic Head of the Department of Teacher Education, April R. Cruz and Field Study Instructor Isaac Valdez was present in the said event. As part of this agreement, eight student-teachers from the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) program at LPC have been deployed to WPI, expecting that this will provide the student-teachers with invaluable hands-on experience in a real classroom setting, further enriching their educational journey and preparing them for their future careers in teaching. The collaboration between WPI and LPC reflects a shared commitment to educational excellence and innovation, paving the way for a brighter future for aspiring educators in the region.
