Pres. Dr. Elmer B. De Leon was invited by the Rizal Technological University to deliver his commencement speech among thousands of graduates from Mandaluyong and Pasig campuses at the Cuneta Astrodome, August 09, 2024. Dr. De Leon inspired the audience with his public narrative on how he got into his current place and metamorphosized from having nothing to attaining his success out of his own perseverance, resilience and strategies that impressed the latter and won their applause. He also invited everyone to pave cordial salute and pay high regard to their parents, families, administrators, faculty and staff of their university for the inspiration, support, assistance and the quality education that they were then holding on as their key to future success in their chosen field. Dr. De Leon acknowledged the RTU Board of Trustees headed by the president Dr. Ma. Eugenia Yangco for the opportunity to be able to share to the promising youth some practical tips and strategies for success as he gave stress on the theme: Empowering of Generations Tomorrow: Fostering Sustainable Education through Technology-driven Innovation and Transformation. The two presidents with the rest administration entourage came across with possible partnership to venture with between their respective institutions as they discussed during informal conversation.
