The Student Research Team from the Business Department visited the Municipal Agriculturist Office (MAO) for the technical consultation of their innovative project "Hydroponics as Innovation in Alternative Farming for Agribusiness Industry in Limay". Next step is the validation and evaluation of the project subjected to an agri-expert and agri-entrepreneur in her farm lot in upland area in Sitio Tundol. The students were accompanied by Ms. Ann Lou Santiago, Extension coordinator and are assisted by Mr. Ariel Vibar Business, Accountancy and Technology Department head for the project's business costing and Ms. Frances Ann Genese, Research, Development and Research director for the technical research assistance. External technical agri-experts are MAO head Joselito Galicia and Ms. Jeremie Santos. To note MAO has been partner of LPC in agriculture and food development in community extension and was awarded the 2024 Enabling Stakeholder Citation for LGU Agency Partner in celebration of LPC's 27th Founding Anniversary for the funded commissioned food project research currently in place. The said project will be presented to the Municipality, thru the MAO for turn-over and dissemination for utilization to help farmers for more productive harvest and income using the said alternative system. #sdg1nopoverty #SDG2ZeroHunger #LPCincreatingimpact
