Freshmen, new employees welcomed; get oriented

First year students of Limay Polytechnic College attended the General Orientation on August 16, 2024 at the Limay Sports Complex. Accordingly, new freshmen, new students and faculty were warmly welcomed by the LPC Community. Newly hired employees had their pinning ceremony that signaled their full commitment in service to the institution as one of its core values, while new students were handed in book marks creatively prepared by their elders in the Department. Meanwhile, Hon. Remigio D. Tayag, chair of SB Education Committee and Dr. Elmer B. De Leon, president expressed their warmest welcome greetings. Part 2 served as orientation proper. Ms. April R. Cruz, head of Teacher Education presented the institutional prospects; Ms. Frances Ann S. Genese laid down the academic policies, while different servicing unit personnel discussed respective services and policies; Ms. Jesica A. Marata, OSADS cited the disciplinary rules and the accredited student organizations through video presentations for org launching and selling purposes among new students. Mr. Ariel Vibar, head of Business, Accountancy and Technology officially closed the program with his words of encouragement. The said activity aimed to inform new students and acquaint them on institutional rules and policies that would guide their decisions and actions while inside the parameters of LPC within their inclusive school years. Truly, the event left significant happy and exciting experience among new faces to be added in the LPC family and community which they described " a magical spark and a surprise".
