A walk to remember. New Limayan Scholars walked as part of Limay Polytechnic College Welcoming Tradition "Dangal - Salubong, The LPCian Walk" after Institutional Eucharistic Mass held at Limay Sports Complex, August 16. "We hope we stand here not just a campus... [but] peaceful and productive sphere for all of us, and we keep on counting not just gossip, but accomplishments and achievements. Good luck everyone, mabuhay LPCians, mabuhay LPC, and may we all keep going!" said Elmer B. De Leon, LPC President on his opening remarks. On the other hand, Remigio S. Tayag Jr., Sangguniang Bayan Member and Limay Education Committee Chairman congratulated the new scholars on his inspirational message. Moreover, Frances Ann S. Genese, Director of Academic Affairs and other Non-teaching faculty members discussed the Academic Policies and Student Services. "Kung napansin niyo ang first line of the song — "Paaralang minamahal", present tense, hindi siya past tense (nagmahal), hindi rin future tense (magmamahal). Because the LPC...kapag pumasok kayo sa LPC, mamahalin namin kayo," said Ariel T. Vibar, Head of Business, Accountancy and Technology as he ended the program. "You come here as a student and you will be leaving LPC as a professional," he emphasized. The program ended with the singing of LPC: Dangal ng Bayan Hymn. Meanwhile, LPC new academic year will kicks off on Monday, August 19. Report by: Daniella Mhay Mateo Photos by: Dave Darwin Dela Rosa / Educator's Guild
