LPC jumpstarts new school year with General Orientation

Freshmen students across programs and departments attended the General Orientation on August 16, 2024 at the Limay Sports Center. Dr. Elmer B. De Leon graciously welcomed the new students and introduced the administrators, faculty and staff. He also led the pinning ceremony for the newly hired full time faculty as a sign of accepting their full commitment and responsibility to the institution. Meanwhile. Hon. Remigio S. Tayag, Jr., SB Education Committee Chair delivered his inspirational message to the outnumbering new students. He emphasized perseverance and love for studies that should be emulated by the students. Ms. April R. Cruz, head of Teacher Education Dept. presented the LPC prospects, while Ms. Frances Ann S. Genese, Academic Affairs director laid down the academic policies and her counterpart Ms. Jesica A. Marata, officer of Student Affairs, Discipline and Services, talked about policies on discipline and student engagement in co-curricular activities. The rest servicing units also presented their policies and delivery systems, such as the registrar, librarian, research and extension coordinator, guidance officer and clinic. Prior to the general orientation, an institutional Thanksgiving Mass was celebrated and the traditional Dangal Salubong: LPCian Walk was executed. 📸LAMPARA
