Interns from Limay Polytechnic College deployed to the Municipality of Limay, were gathered for the onboarding orientation conducted by the Human Resource Management Office. This activity aimed to orient the interns on rules, policies and regulations imposed in the said municipality grounded on government code and imbued by ethics for public servants. The attending interns were accompanied by Ms. Rizza Hussain, coordinator. They attended to a courtesy call and photo opportunity with Hon. Mayor Nelson C. David, who greeted them as the next generation of manpower resources of the Municipality. To note, as LPC realigns competencies needed for internship which is for appraisal at the end, LPC deployed interns under BSBA, major in Financial Management and Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at the Offices of Budget and Finance, Accounting and Treasury for their first route of internship this semester and will have the second route in the next semester in private context. This is for wider opportunities and broader experience in diverse contexts. As such, the said internship begins on September to complete the first required 300 hours for this semester and another 300 hours in the next semester. #Sdg8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
