LPC sets another Multi-sectoral Engagement with DOE

Dr. Elmer B. De Leon, president and Mr. Mark Anthony B. Banda, admin officer for QUALITI responded to the invitation of the Department of Energy to its 1st Government Energy Management Program (GEMP) Regional Summit for Energy Efficiency and EEC Professionals on August 29, 2024 at Royce Hotel, Clark Freeport, Pampanga, themed: "Building a Pathway for a More Energy Efficient Government in the Future". Stated in the invitation letter sent to LPC, thru its president, that this activity was grounded on the Administrative Order No.15 issued by the Office of the President, directing the GEMP which intends to intensify the efficient utilization and conservation of energy with government setting a strong example. Hence, it encapsulates evaluation of institutions and agencies and rating them with 3 to 5 stars on their implementation and success value, while deferment and sanction for non-compliance of the said legal mandate. Invitees were local government offices, select government or state universities with LPC as the lone local college. The event was also graced by some local chief executives, provincial governors and government agency officials. The Provincial Government Office of Bataan presented and shared its best practice in implementing energy saving program.
