Santos leads SSC E-Poll 2024

Posted Aug-30-2024

Jenny Mae Santos, Business student and incumbent SSC vice president, obtained a total of 969 votes cast by LPC students in the recently concluded Supreme Student Council Election via electronic poll this 2024 set on September 30, 2024. Being lone contender for the highest post, Santos won the heart of studentry with her performance in the Business, Accountancy and Technology Department both in academics and leadership, much more in the SSC in the previous school year. Meanwhile, interestingly, also lone contender Mark Labosta, Education student and incumbent SSC president, made it as the vice president. Though, he still has a chance of rerunning in the council's highest post, he opted to give in to his vice president and successor Santos the helmsmanship throne as he considers this year to be a busy one for him due to his deployment to different cooperating schools for two semestral practice teaching experience. However, as he intends to continue and pursue his whim to serve to the best interest of the studentry, he ran as vice president. Undoubtedly, the Labosta-Santos tandem in the previous SSC term created significant impact to the LPC operation by pushing programs, rendering remarkable assistance and modeling good values and virtues worth emulating by other students. Sustaining such magic service duo, it is expected that more student programs and projects to pursue and student voices to be heard with her representation in the Management Council. More so, Santos takes her seat in the Board of Trustees in S.Y. 2024-2025.
