First year students were gathered for the Symposium on Basic First Aid Training on April 19, 2023 at the Limay Sports Complex with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management (MDRRM) Team. This was part of their National Service Training Program. The said event was coordinated by the Office of Student Affairs, Discipline and Services (OSADS) and Research, Development and Extension Office (RDE), respectively. Resource speakers from the MDRRM gave their insights and emphasized the need to get prepared in times of emergencies for themselves, their families and others. The latter also gave some techniques in preparing, mitigating and recuperating in times of emergencies to avoid or reduce possible risks and troubles that it may cause.
