Dr. Elmer B. de Leon, LPC president and PAFTE vice president for Luzon joined other board and chapter officers, resource speakers, education dignitaries, agency officials and teacher education deans and faculty in the 52nd PAFTE National and 13th International Convention on October 11-12, 2023 at the Midas Hotel, Pasay City with the theme: PAFTE @55: Pathways for Professional Teachers and Educational Leaders. Education dignitaries and career pathway advocates graced and oriented participants on relevant concepts, details, issues and concerns. Plenary sessions, research presentation, updates from partner agencies and open forum completed the two-day coveted confabulation. Dr. De Leon was assigned to introduce the research presenters and facilitate the presentation for two days while he assisted in the program. More so, he was re-elected by the delegates in the board after his current stint expires in 2024. To note, some faculty members in the Department of Teacher Education at LPC also joined the event via Microsoft Teams.
