Dr. Elmer B. De Leon, LPC president joined the delegation of professional teachers in the 12th Philippine Professional Summit organized by the Philippine Association of Professional Regulatory Boards (PAPRB) and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) themed: "The Filipino Glocal Professionals Riding Through the Crest of Change" on October 17-18, 2023 at the Manila Hotel, Luneta Park, Manila. The two-day coveted event served as an assembly of various professionals in the country, while upgrading themselves on the current trends, future directions and projections and issues and concerns in the job market as confronted by professionals in different fields. During the program, testimonies of experiences and best practices were shared while those clamorous issues were clarified and addressed by the resource persons. Dr. De Leon had the chance to meet and had discussion with the resource persons, dignitaries from various agencies, professional organizations, academic institutions, PRC professional regulatory boards, including the commissioners and officials for networking and possible linkages for LPC. To note, Dr. De Leon is a member of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Council for Professional Teachers, representing the academe.
