Limay Polytechnic College initiated forging partnership with Genpact, a Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) industry based in Manila with area branch at the Vista Mall, Balanga City, Bataan for the latter’s intent to re-open the Associate in Computer Technology, this time with major in Service Management to be offered this coming semester. The said partnership includes student training, assessment and hiring opportunities among prospective LPC students. Likewise, Dr. Elmer B. de Leon, president urged if they can also adopt LPC for sponsorship of a BPO training simulation hub to be installed in the school prior to the students’ deployment to the Genpact company for their apprenticeship training that the counterpart affirmed by working out with the Genpact Management the process of sharing and donating the necessary equipment. As such, Mr. John Xavier Balderas and Ms. April Santos, both management officials of Genpact based in Alabang, Muntinlupa accommodated and responded to LPC's invitation for partnership through an initial meeting set on March 20, 2023. Hence, a memorandum of agreement for this purpose will be accomplished, while physical meet up through school and company visit will be scheduled soon. During the meeting, the proposed BPO-related courses in the ACT curriculum were reviewed, while academic and onboard arrangement and student assessment were discussed in this meet up. Meanwhile, Ms. Santos presented the Gateway Plus Training overview as Genpact may also assist in assessing the students’ related- soft and hard skills and competencies. Another meeting was anticipated and set by the two parties as a follow-through of this initial meeting.
