LPC staged the onsite Academe-Industry Partnership Forum (Business Segment) on March 10, 2023 at 1:30-5:00 pm. Present were presidents and CEOs, owners and top management officials of companies, business chamber and LGU (The Bunker, AFAB, CEIDO, JCI, JVCD, Oracle, ORICA, J2K (Trucking, Trading and Allied Services), Rachael San Boutique, Home Gas, Hot Mama's, 7-11, Jollibee, PHirst, Reap Success, PhilAm Life, Sun Life, Pru-Life UK, PESO and LGU- HRMO. The academe was represented by the president, director of academic affairs, dept. heads and QUALITI Officer. There were exchanges of perspectives along different business fields, such as advertising, financing, entrepreneurship, food service, manpower outsourcing services, human resource, trucking and trading industry, manufacturing, aesthetics buss., online buss., franchising, BPO industry, insurance services, and consumer goods and services. As a turn-out, the guest-panelists offered training services for faculty and students, internship and placement opportunities, business assistance and company exposure invitation as part of their pledge for partnership. The event culminated with commitment ceremony, wine toasting and MOU signing that initialed the way to binding partnership with both academe and industry sectors. BSBA students witnessed the said event by asking questions. The said forum was facilitated by Ms. Camille Joy Aglinao (faculty).
