Members of the Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) Management Committee were gathered for a meeting to discuss updates and trends, thereby designate tasks for immediate and appropriate actions at the Library, October 29.
The president commenced with his announcement and commendation of the recognition of LPC by the QS Reimagine Education recognition based in London, United Kingdom for its innovative project as the latest accomplishment of the QUALITI Unit. This is also the first time that LPC made such attempt but was much lauded and admired by the prestigious and renowned Quacquarelli Symonds (SQ) as stated in the letter they sent to LPC.
Moreover, Dr. De Leon laid down the trends, updates and requirements presented in the ALCU National Conference that he has attended days ago. He reiterated the need for accreditation, micro credentialing and in-demand technical-vocational programs, internationalization, quality assurance to sustain institutional recognition, COPCs, UniFAST FHE Grant, sustainable goals, private-public partnership, digitization and CHED harmonization patterns as driving tools to sustain and improve the local institutions in the country.
He also reiterated the preparations for the OIQAG audit and onsite inspection that is scheduled soon and the program accreditation.
He cited the expected developments and accomplishments as deliverables in the end of respective units.
To wit: Sustained standards in faculty, curriculum, instruction and assessment with an end-results of impressive board performance and employment and additional program pursuit by Academic Departments; application of need-based and in-demand tech-voc programs through cost-benefit and outsourcing strategies; sustainable mental health programs and behavioral assessments by the Guidance and Testing Unit; continuous subscription of learning resources and online sources in order to utilize the digital tablets for active utilization; student empowerment, quality programs and efficient services by OSADS Unit; efficient records management by the Registrar's unit; efficient digitization system by MIS; impactful research and extension programs by RDE; quality health programs and services by the Medical-Health Unit; effective institutional branding and strong alumni engagement by the PIO and Alumni Office; efficient financial utilization audit and more scholarship opportunities, efficient disaster preparedness and risk management by the Finance and Administrative Unit; sustained compliances for UniFAST grant and efficient procurement and inventory mechanism by the Property Procurement and Inventory unit; and strong internationalization, quality assurance, accreditation and partnership need and requirement by the QUALITI Unit.
With all these deliverables and compliances with much efficient monitoring and evaluation mechanisms, rest expected and assured that LPC will go in place which was positively affirmed and fully committed by every unit. #
