History starts here.

With the theme โ€œEmpowering Tomorrowโ€™s Leaders: Trailblazing Business Excellence,โ€ Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) once again marked a historic milestone as it successfully launched its first-ever Coining Investiture and Pinning Ceremonies for Business and Accountancy Department student interns at the Limay Sports Complex, August 20.

A total of 212 LPC student interns from the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration programsโ€”majoring in Financial Management, Marketing, and Operations Managementโ€”and the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy program participated in this historic event, where they formally received their coin and pin, symbolizing the new chapter they are about to embark on.

The program commenced with a warm message from LPC College President Dr. Elmer B. De Leon, who congratulated the administration of the BA Department for organizing and working hard to make the departmentโ€™s first-ever event possible.

Keynote Speaker Teresita E. Magtanong, Officer-in-Charge and Division Chief of the Department of Trade and Industryโ€™s Business Development Division, reminded the interns to give their best in every opportunity and challenge they may face in the future.

Magtanong also noted that the event was not just about wearing a pin but about embracing a promiseโ€”to step beyond the classroom, to transform knowledge into action, and to live out the values of excellence, integrity, and respect for creation as business leaders of tomorrow.

โ€œThe world you are entering is dynamic and demanding, but it is also full of possibilities. Lead with courage, creativity, and compassion. Carry with you the lessons and discipline you have gained here, and inspire others to believe that business can truly be a force for good,โ€ she said.

On the other hand, Municipal Administrator Engr. Danilo E. Datay, representing the LGU Limay, delivered an inspirational message to the LPCian students and assured them that the Municipality of Limay will help in any way it can.

Moreover, BA Department Internship Coordinator and LPC Instructor Rizzalyn Hussain emphasized the true symbolism of the coin and pin and the responsibilities that students will face during their internship in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, Director of the Business and Accountancy Department Dr. John Levy Rueda, in his closing remarks, expressed his hope that the pin worn by BA students would serve as a lasting symbol of perseverance and moral responsibility in their journey as future business professionals. #
