Pres. Arcega keynotes LPC's 26th Commencement Rites

Limay Polytechnic College staged its 26th Commencement Exercises on June 10 at the Limay Sports Complex, with the theme: “Future-Proofed LPCian Graduates for Global Excellence.”
A total of 332 graduates marched from various academic programs, including Associate in Computer Technology (ACT), Bachelor in Elementary Education, Bachelor in Secondary Education (Majors in English, Filipino, and Mathematics), Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Majors in Financial Management and Marketing Management).
On behalf of Hon. Richie Jason D. David, Municipal Mayor of Limay and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Vice Mayor-elect Marie Grace David formally called to order the Commencement Ceremonies, followed by Pres. Dr. Elmer De Leon, highlighted the institution’s 26 winning moments in 2024-2025 yo celebrate this graduation as a testament of academic excellence in his welcome remarks.
Dr. Raymundo P. Arcega, CESE, President and Director of the Association of Local Colleges and Universities and National Commission on Accreditation for Local Colleges (ALCU-NCALCU), served as the keynote speaker. In his heartfelt message, he commended the graduates, their parents, the faculty, and the institution for their dedication and perseverance.
“Failure is not failure – failure is a delay of success,” reiterated Dr. Arcega.
Representing Bataan Gov. Hon. Jose Enrique S. Garcia III, Mr. Gaudencio Ferrer shared a message of inspiration and offered a prayer for former Limay Mayor Nelson David.
Vice Mayor Sarah David and Vice Mayor-elect Marie Grace David also delivered their congratulatory messages to the graduating class, while the conferment of degrees was officially performed by the LPC president.
The Late Hon. Nelson C. David, Founding Chairman was given a posthumous tribute and a standing ovation applause a way of paving respect and high regard.
Distribution of diplomas and awarding of academic, co-curricular, research and special awards highlighted the program.
Daniella Mhay Mateo, the Magna Cum Laude delivered her empowering valedictory address that emphasized transformation, purpose, and resilience, while encouraging her fellow graduates to dream boldly despite uncertainties.
“We will soar. We will rise above the rest,” she ended.
The ceremony concluded with the graduates' recital of pledge of loyalty, singing of their graduation song and the Dangal LPC Hymn, before Hon. David formally adjourned the ceremonial rites and proceeded with the recessional.
