The 2025 DOST-NRCP CASCaDe Program was rolled out with its latest training workshop that brought together 65 educators from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao to strengthen their research skills and capacities.

The said program brought perspectives of understanding action research in education; designing the research framework process; and writing and presenting research proposals.

Organized by the Department of Science and Technology - National Research Council of the Philippines - Division I (Governmental, Educational, and International Policies), in partnership with the Schools Division Office of Balanga City, Bataan, this initiative intended to support DOST’s efforts toward inclusive capacity-building in education.

The said onsite training workshop was held at Lou-is Resort and Restaurant, Balanga City, Bataan, October 27–29.

Notably, Mr. Joemark Ablian, director of Research, Development and Extension at Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) and an associate member of NRCP under the Division of Social Sciences was invited for free to this training, wherein he also presented his group's action research proposal as an output.

This meaningful experience brought Mr. Ablian an opportunity, not only in enriching his research skill, but also in networking with the DOST NRCP for his institution's research innovations and development.

In fact, he already communicated with them his desire to assist and invite them in staging a national research conference to be hosted by LPC sometime in December.

Another worthy engagement of LPC, this time, in the light of research development unfold. #
