𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | LPC Partners with CNE Publishing to Expand E-Learning Resources and Strengthen Library Services
Date Posted: Jul. 23, 2026
Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) has forged a partnership with CNE Publishing to enhance its library resources through the procurement of electronic learning materials, supporting the College's growing student population and its commitment to quality instruction, accreditation readiness, and compliance with Commission on Higher Education (CHED) standards.
This will add up to the existing available outsourced e-resources in the library.
The initiative forms part of LPC's continuing efforts to strengthen its library holdings in preparation for the onsite evaluation of newly applied academic programs, future CHED monitoring visits, and the external accreditation of its existing programs.
Recognizing the advantages of digital resources, the College has identified electronic learning materials as a practical, sustainable, and accessible solution to meet the required number of book titles and volumes per subject while expanding students' access to quality references.
Through the system, students will be able to access learning resources anytime and anywhere using their official LPC accounts, whether on campus or at home.
The digital collection can also be accessed simultaneously by multiple users, eliminating limitations associated with the availability of printed copies.
To further support digital learning, the electronic resources will be available through the library's internet section and iPad-equipped reading area, as well as through students' personal mobile devices connected to the College's campus-wide free Wi-Fi network.
An initial coordination meeting was held between CNE Publishing, represented by Ms. Maryann Tumaliuan, Regional Sales Manager, and Ms. Rosemarie Baltazar, Business Solutions Officer, and Limay Polytechnic College, represented by College President Dr. Elmer De Leon and Ms. Jaide Llanda, College Librarian.
Under the proposed partnership, LPC and CNE Publishing will begin selecting digital titles aligned with the College's academic program offerings to ensure that the electronic collection remains relevant, contextualized, and responsive to the instructional and research needs of students and faculty.
The agreement also includes perpetual access to the purchased resources, allowing the College to maximize its investment through long-term utilization.
In addition, CNE Publishing committed to providing trial access to selected digital resources, supplementary learning materials, invitations to an upcoming international book fair, and faculty and library staff training opportunities sponsored by the company.
Among the publishing companies that presented their proposals to the College, CNE Publishing was selected for offering the most flexible and cost-effective package, enabling LPC to customize its digital library collection according to institutional priorities while ensuring excellent value for its investment.
The partnership underscores LPC's commitment to continuously improving its library services as a vital component of quality higher education.
By expanding access to modern electronic learning resources, the College aims to enrich students' learning experiences, strengthen research and instruction, and support its pursuit of academic excellence, institutional accreditation, and international competitiveness.
Memorandum of Agreement signing will be transacted soon upon arranging the schedule. #
