Date Posted: Jan. 14, 2025
The Academic heads and admissions officer were called for an integration meeting by the president to discuss plans, frameworks, policies and strategies to make the admission process more effective, cost-efficient and impact-driven, while ensuring the intended outcome of realizing the target enrollment. The analysis of attrition data was laid down that can be used for the admission policy review and reformulation, strong coordination with senior high schools through counter service assistance offerings, empowering current students for their program promotion and the departments' crafting of marketing tools, systems and platforms, while setting a more enhanced career guidance program to be coordinated with feeder schools along with processes, policies and schedules. With all the suggested efforts, needed initiatives and budget allocation, the team vouched their commitment to attain and generate the target enrollment, while gently sustaining the retention of current students in respective departments. The president is also planning to set another meeting with the senior high school principals to present the academic performance data of their students and discuss the identified concerns that implicate LPC's enrollment and retention status for mitigation and intervention purposes. He is also apt to meet with registrars of other institutions for collaboration and convergence on admission concerns and enrollment process.
