LPC binds PC for stronger PPP on academic integration, internship, and career opportunities

Limay Polytechnic College, through the Department of Business and Accountancy (DBA), finally sealed its partnership with Personal Collection, a private wholesale and retail company in the country, and signed a memorandum of understanding at the latter's office in Balanga City on March 13.
The said partnership promotes academic integration through mentoring, shared teaching, and capacity building in operations and marketing management, franchising, logistics, customer service, financial management, pricing and inventory management, wholesale and retail management, online/digital marketing, merchandising, control management, and entrepreneurship.
It also includes internship and employment opportunities in the binding agreement.
Interestingly, the 'learn and earn' framework and capacity-building marketing are among the latest business trends introduced in LPC.
As such, PC pledged support and assistance to deserving business students as part of its corporate social responsibility.
Dr. Elmer De Leon (college president), Dr. John Levy Rueda (DBA head), and Mr. Ian Love Gimeno (PC Area head) joined the MOU signing arranged by Mr. Mark Anthony Banda (QUALITY Officer).
The group also had a store tour and integration discussion with other personnel, followed by a luncheon meeting.
The said networking endeavor established by LPC at PC aims to strengthen its public-private partnership toward a purposeful process for students' skill development, learning experience, and career opportunities.
It truly depicts 'theory to practice' and 'ideas to impact' perspectives in learning.
