Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) accountancy students on Tuesday, secured the top two spots in the Poster Making Contest organized by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Bataan Chapter via Zoom, Sept. 1.

Abbygail Reyes and Johanne Reighn David, both from the Department of Business and Accountancy (DBA), placed first and second, respectively, among 12 finalists in the competition.

Six of the 12 finalists were LPCians, highlighting the strong showing of the college in the competition centered on the theme, β€œEMPOWER: Elevating the Filipino CPA Towards Ethical Leadership and Global Excellence.”

Reyes and David emerged as the top finishers after presenting their respective poster entries before the panel of judges during the virtual competition.

The judging panel was composed of Caesar Dela Rosa of the Bataan Artist Society, Ferdinand San Diego, senior regional director of PICPA Central Luzon, and Melanie Siasat, Federation Year 2026-2027 PICPA president.

Siasat hosted the presentation of the poster entries and the awarding ceremony, which followed the competition.

The achievement adds to the growing participation of LPC students in competitions that showcase their creativity and skills beyond the classroom. #
