Date Posted: Oct. 09, 2025

The Municipal Engineering Office (MEO), headed by Engr. Ernesto Cabana, Engr. Lloyd from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and Limay Polytechnic College Team, headed by President Dr. Elmer De Leon paved way to visit the new LPC campus site at Brgy. Bo.Luz & Kitang 2, October 03.

The said teams inspected the campus facilities and site developments and checked the completion of Phase 2 that would house classrooms and servicing offices. Hence, phases 3-5, including the roof top for social hall, additional classrooms and laboratories and the elevator will find its completion the soonest.

Meanwhile, Hon. Mayor Richie Jason David promised the construction of admin building with proposed additional floor for auditorium to rise very soon.

This new campus would cater to continuously growing student populace in different existing and additional academic programs.

With the concerted efforts and initiative of the Municipal officials, led by Mayor David and VM Marie Grace David and the Sangguniang Bayan Members, the National and Provincial Governments and generous benefactors, the new LPC site may serve wider communities and more beneficiaries from the marginalized sector through quality, accessible and inclusive free higher education that obtains much attention and prioritization by the local government of the Municipality of Limay.

As HE Pres. Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. resonated that education is the prime driving tool toward nation's economic growth and development. Thus, this important sector entails prioritization demands at all costs.

Part of current developments include the road construction and concretion, the campus gates that are almost done, the electricity and aircondition units that have been installed in classrooms and offices.

Thus, LPC acknowledges and appreciates good gestures and strong support of everyone. "Truly, we are one in carrying on the future generations' dreams and aspirations," expressed elated Dr. De Leon.

To note, with Dr. De Leon were Ms. Cheyser Charrese Gachula, Institutional Planning Officer; Mr. Mark Anthony Banda, admin asst. and QUALITI officer; and Mr. John Rudolph Barbin, Public Information Officer. #
