𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | DBA endorses Interns for deployment to companies
Date Posted: Sep. 02, 2025
The Department of Business and Accountancy (DBA), thru Dr. John Levy Rueda, department head and Ms. Rizza Hussain, corporate internship coordinator deployed the student-interns to their assigned cooperating companies for corporate internship.
To note, at LPC, the Corporate Internship Program is taken and completed by fourth year students on their last year for two semesters or one year. This remains the only subject they take in their last school year.
They usually have a rotating internship duty either in different departments in same company or move to other company with different settings for more learning experience and employment opportunities.
At some instances, when the company intends to absorb the latter during the first or second quarter of their internship, they may opt to continue their work services and may just continue their internship. Their grades will be provided by the immediate supervisors.
In fact, it would be recalled that almost less than 30 of the interns were absorbed or hired at the duration of their internship, while some after graduation.
Truly, the LPC Internship Program matters as an aid or means to immediate employment which remains impactful institutional outcome. #
