Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) held its 5th National Service Training Program (NSTP) Graduation Ceremonies on June 4 at the Limay Sports Complex, recognizing students who completed the Literacy Training Service (LTS) and Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) programs under the theme, โ€œLPC NSTP: Empowering Youth for Community Transformation and Global Impact.โ€

The ceremony highlighted the graduatesโ€™ contributions to community development and civic engagement, while emphasizing the role of youth in nation-building.

LPC President Dr. Elmer B. De Leon congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to remain grateful to those who supported them throughout their journey.

โ€œLingunin at balikan ang mga taong umalalay sa inyong tagumpay,โ€ he said.

De Leon also emphasized that LPC continues to promote service, discipline, and integrity among its students, describing these values as the foundation of a true Dangal LPCian.

The keynote address was delivered by Lieutenant Commander Maycee Ann B. Angga, PN, Naval Aviator and Flag Secretary of the Naval Air Warfare Force, Philippine Navy. Angga urged graduates to view NSTP as more than an academic requirement and challenged them to use their skills and experiences in serving others.

She shared four guiding principles represented by the acronym NSTP: No one sails through life with a perfect map, Stop comparing yourself with others, Think beyond yourself, and Prioritize what truly matters.

โ€œLife is not a smooth voyageโ€”there will be storms and unexpected turns. But with purpose, courage, and service, you will always find your way,โ€ she said.

The ceremony also recognized outstanding students for their achievements and service.

Awardees included Dess Rose D. De Guzman for Leadership, Lovely B. Bautista for Service, Bea F. Talavera for Civic Welfare, and Mary Lianne B. Montoya for Technical Service.

Prince Harold S. Maestro received the distinction of Most Outstanding NSTP Student of the Year.

Several student-led projects were likewise recognized, including Alab Letra, Farmerpreneurship, Ctrl + Alt + Create, and Kabataang Katutubo, Kabataang Wais, for their contributions to community development and empowerment.

Speaking on behalf of the graduates, Maestro expressed gratitude to the college, faculty, families, and community partners for their support throughout the program.

The ceremony concluded with the recitation of service pledges, the singing of โ€œPilipinas Kong Mahal,โ€ and closing remarks from Mr. Joemark D. Ablian, who reminded graduates that their NSTP training marks the beginning of a lifelong commitment to public service and nation-building. #
