The employees of Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) were warmly welcomed by the Polytechnic College of Botolan (PCB) Management Team headed by Pres. Dr. Grace Manangan and Administrator Dr. Joy Cortez as part of LPC's Midyear Employees' Capacity Building (MECB) culminating event at Botolan, Zambales.
The visiting team explored the host institution's mammoth campus with around 40-hectares that houses different buildings, facilities and offices to cater to their course offerings. The latter showed their newly constructed building intended for more classrooms in the ground floor and their auditorium that filled the whole second floor in addition to the ready for construction 3-storey library building and next door building, accordingly.
After roaming around the facilities and meeting and discussing with their counterparts, the visiting team were gathered for the demonstration of perfect hybrid system at their newly purchased smart classroom with complete equipment. They also boasted their operation system, admission, enrollment and academic transmittal system, student portals and Learning Management System (LMS), all were locally outsourced by their powerful MIS and ITE Teams.
On top of all, it was the employees' commitment and good work ethics amidst limited resources and financial constraints that impressed them all. Truly, PCB is a promising local educational institution that has the power to emerge and get at par with the rest universities.
To note, PCB and LPC are partners in academic and research development as stipulated in their signed memorandum of understanding between them.
The benchmarking activity was organized and arranged by Mr. Mark Anthony Banda, designated QUALITI officer.
