𝑹𝒐𝒂𝒅 𝒕𝒐 𝑰𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒛𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏.
Limay Polytechnic College (LPC) President Dr. Elmer de Leon, concurrently, the director of Internationalization, with Mr. Mark Anthony Banda, QUALITI officer and designated deputy of Internationalization Unit, attended the Foreign Scholarships and Training Program (FSTP) and Erasmus + Caravan - Luzon Leg at the Monarch Hotel, Calasiao, Pangasinan, October 22-23.
The said event was organized and supervised by the Office of International Affairs Service (IAS) of the Commission on Higher Education. It aimed to introduce various opportunities for international trainings and scholarships, including the Erasmus.
Other sponsoring agencies were the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Stipendium Hungaricum (SH), Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO), Fulbright (Philippine-American Educational Foundation, Erasmus+ (PH-EU Higher Education Cooperation), and Erasmus Joint Mundus Association Joint Masters, respectively.
Mr. Banda was able to meet his counterparts from Internationalization Offices in different higher education institutions in Regions 1, 2, 3 and CAR who actively participated in the assembly.
The said engagement of LPC in this two-day program would lead to its dynamic internationalization initiative as both a regulatory compliance and an institutional impact that usually starts with enabling linkages and networking efforts. #
