The NSTP-LTS proudly held its first-ever Edukalinga Recognition Ceremony at the Senior Citizen Hall in Alangan. The event commenced with an opening message from College President Dr. Elmer B. De Leon, who emphasized the significance of involving senior citizens in various social activities that stimulate their minds and enhance their self-esteem, as they are often among the most overlooked members of society.
The program also featured heartfelt testimonial sharing, where the participants expressed the valuable lessons and joy they gained throughout the course. The senior citizens conveyed their deep gratitude for being the first completers of the program and expressed their hope to continue participating in future sessions.
The ceremony concluded with the distribution of grocery packages to each completer, followed by light refreshments and a photo opportunity to commemorate the occasion.
